NOTEBOOK

Besides making art, Anli enjoys writing about art—other people's art, art and culture, and the neurology of the artistic process. Her art previews and reviews have been published in Flavorpill, Artkrush, and Asianweek. Her academic research and writing in art were done as a medical student at UCSF's Memory and Aging Center, where she was particularly interested in dementia and visual creativity. She finds that writing helps to refine her thinking during her own artistic process.
